Durante questo periodo, la Terra passa attraverso una nube di piccole particelle che la cometa Swift-Tuttle ha lasciato da tempo nella sua orbita. Le particelle hanno dimensioni variabili dai granelli di polvere ai ciottoli e producono il caratteristico fenomeno luminoso quando entrano nell&#8217;atmosfera.<\/p>\n<p>Consigli pratici per osservare le Perseidi:<br \/>Per godere al meglio questo evento, consigliamo di osservarlo ad occhio nudo da un luogo buio che permetta una visuale senza ostacoli di gran parte del cielo. Il modo pi\u00f9 comodo per farlo \u00e8 su un lettino o sdraiati sul pavimento con vista a nord. Binocoli o telescopi non sono appropriati.
